Romania

The trip to Romania taken by Shane Burr and Eddie Kone was for the most part a big success. We were welcomed by Absoluto BJJ (RGDA Romania) head instructor Tudor Mihaita.  Training with the guys at Absoluto BJJ was excellent, there were a number of BJJ Classes and everyone was keen to roll with Eddie and Shane. There were a number of promotions given out by Eddie including Shane receiving 2 stripes on his blue belt.  Whilst there Ferid, a member of Absoluto BJJ made his successful MMA debut and won his fight in the first round with a perfectly executed armbar. 

Unfortunately whilst training Shane injured his left knee. After seeking medical attention he has been informed that he has ruptured his ACL. This obviously is bad news but rest assured the classes here at RGDA Kent will continue as normal. Pictures of the trip will be in the gallery section soon.
